Uli Aigner is known for her numerous video, performance, and installation works, as well as large-format works on paper. Since 2014, she has been creating chronologically numbered porcelain objects for her analog-digital project ONE MILLION.
ONE MILLION is Uli Aigner’s long-running analog-digital project, launched in 2014, for which she creates chronologically numbered, customized porcelain eating and drinking vessels on a potter’s wheel based on conversations with her clients and digitally archives their distribution on an interactive world map. The forms of her vessels range from archaeological artifacts to forms that are also generated based on conversations and generated by artificial intelligence (AI). Each of the physical objects has its own digital data set.
