the embroidered text image uses line-like strokes to allude to the inarticulate nature of content, which is transformed into abstract colour compositions. at some point, these lines break off abruptly, allowing floating elements to emerge from the open space of the raw canvas, or for meaningful words to finally take shape. mystically concealed associations that evoke moods through wildly gestural painted backgrounds. this surreal state comes to a halt, as if in a moment of release, in the thread-wrapped objects.
